It might sound like a cliché, but I absolutely love Christmas—the atmosphere, the decorations, and spending time with family and friends. It’s all so special, and I want to spread that feeling to my family, especially to my little one. This year is even more special because we’re hosting the whole family for the first time. I’ve started collecting ideas for our table setting and putting them together to help visualize the final result and get a feel for the overall look. I’ve come up with three different styles—which one is your favorite?
Look 1: Fresh and playful
I’ve named the first option “Fresh and Playful” because that’s exactly how it feels to me. I love how the green stripes are presented in a unique way, which complements the dark red of the candles, glasses, napkins, and flowers beautifully. The plates with their subtle detailing on the edges and the golden cutlery are the final touches that make this look elegant as well.
The traditional dark greens and reds, along with gold accents, embody the essence of Christmas. This look is filled with small details that make it special: the wavy edges of the napkins, the fine red details in the tablecloth, and the flower-shaped candle holders. The golden cutlery, combined with some greenery, creates a beautifully elegant balance for a Christmas table setting.
Last but not least, a minimalist style. I love how elegant and calm this tablescape looks. I’ve used cream tones for the tablecloth, candles, and plates, paired with olive green details in the napkins and glassware. The olive greenery at the center of the table ties everything together beautifully. Silver cutlery and black accents complete the look perfectly.
